The Church I See

The church that I see is a church of influence; a growing, healthy church that cannot be ignored by the community in which it is placed and a church that is god-centered, people empowering and driven by purpose.

The church that I see is a church whose heartfelt, passionate worship touches heaven and changes earth, impacting people to love god with all their heart, soul, mind and strength. A church whose priority is to ‘glorify God and enjoy Him forever’.

The church that I see is a church whose people are unified in vision, purpose and prayer and who are dependent on the holy spirit.

The church that I see proclaims a message so clear that lives are changed forever and potential is fulfilled through the power of God’s Word.

The church that I see is compassionate to the poor, the lonely, the lost, the broken-hearted and the unloved, and seeks to create a loving, friendly and safe environment where solutions are found, acceptance is given and people feel ‘Welcome home’.

The church that I see is a church full of kingdom-minded people who will count the cost and pay whatever the price to see a community and nation redeemed.

The church that I see is equipping and enabling ordinary people to live extraordinary lives, helping them find and live in their God-given destiny. it raises, teaches and empowers leaders who will impact their generation with the life-changing love of Christ.

The church that I see stands against injustice in all its forms; speaking up for those with no voice and defending those unable to defend themselves.

The church that I see refuses to be content with past successes but is looking to the future, being constantly innovative in how it communicates the message with clarity, relevance and excellence to our generation.

The church that I see loves God, loves people and lives life to the full – youthful in spirit, generous at heart, faith-filled in declaration, loving in nature, and inclusive in expression.

The church that I see believes in giving people a second chance, believing that God can change any life, at any stage, offering people the opportunity to dream again and live a life of purpose and fulfillment.

The church that I see is committed to bringing the love and hope of Christ to impossible situations through all means possible. It is a church whose head is Jesus, help is the Holy Spirit and whose focus is the great commission.

The church that I see could very well be our church… Grace Generation Church.
